01-172. 1ST BATTLE OF BULL RUN - Detroit Daily Tribune July 22, 1861- Scarce title with early and exciting reports on the first major Civil War battle. Front pg. single column headlines: "The Fight at Bull Run/ The War on the Union/ A Ten Hour Fight/ Frightful Loss of Life/ The Rebels Completely Routed." Back pg. has even larger heads: "BLOODY BATTLE AT BULL RUN/ Rebels Driven to Manassas/ Inaugural Message of Traitor Davis." Great Condition. Exciting! $89
